Apparently. B/c “finding the right woman” in this context clearly means “finding the right woman to knock up and then leave her to raise my kids without helping at all while I’m off being a glorious movie star.”
I’m pretty sure having kids is part of a…. “package” for Ben… He wants to find a woman (since, YES, he’s straight *gasps*) who wants to spend her life with him, and vice versa, before he has kids. That’s what he fucking means by “the right woman.” I mean Jesus Christ.
I think people are also pissed that he said it would be “easy.” I imagine that either being a joke, or him implying that when you have the right partner, things just sort of fall into place.
I honestly do not take issue with either of these sentiments. Ben’s kind of a traditional guy. That’s fine.
What’s more hilarious is the fact, that said “easy” comes from mistranslated Russian. Word “prosto” can be used as an adjective “simple, easy” or, as it was in this case, “just”. So what was in that interview was closer to “to just accomplish it, the right time with right woman”. paraphrasing, because I don’t feel like scrolling his tag to search for exact words ATM.
PS. I did scroll it a bit and somebody found original quote from English interview then translated to Russian, THEN translated to English again.Talk about accuracy.
